Bianca A. Sofonio practices law with a focus on obtaining the best possible results for her clients while remaining sensitive to the emotional impact of being a named party in a civil lawsuit. For the last 30 years her practice has been tailored to advocate on behalf of employees who have been wrongfully terminated, discriminated against, or who have not been fairly compensated under California labor laws. She can relate to her client’s workplace struggles as the daughter of immigrant parents who faced social injustices as they fought for equal employment opportunities, which is why she chose to become a lawyer and represent employees who have been mistreated in the workplace. Ms. Sofonio’s compassion for her clients’ causes combined with her ability to find creative and fair resolutions to lawsuits is enhanced by her knowledge of legal decisions that affect labor and employment law standards.
Ms. Sofonio is a wife and mother of two children, a breast cancer survivor, and a passionate advocate of education and animals. She regularly volunteers to help with fundraising at food banks, local public schools and youth sports. She enjoys running, reading, yoga, snow skiing, and spending time with her family.
